tire prices

well its bout time for some new tires and today i priced some mastercraft courser c/ts and they were about 900 bucks for 285s 17s. That sounds high but i dont know. What are some other good tires that cost about the same or cheaper. P.S i will not own a set of bfg's a/ts.

thanks for any help

Re: tire prices

I was gonna say that's really high, but you have 17" wheels, so I guess that's why. The Coursers are good tires, so all I can say is you're looking down the right path (since you don't want bfg's.)

I know Mastercraft are hard to find at very many places online, so it gives you fewer places to look.

Have you checked FSC's sale pages? I've seen some good tires on there cheap.

Re: tire prices

I ran Procomp M/T's on my old Z71 they were 16's and would've cost 850...but procomp was running a special buy 3 get one free... something to think about. I loved them My truck was all stock (lift wise) so the M/T's were awesome, and I never got stuck, had one close call.

Running open diff's too...
