WOW, that is bright. I'd like to have that for those night time tail gaters. Ride my bumper, I'll flip the switch.

Re: cool back-up light idea..
He was incredibly helpful on where/what it was...
Though, I do kinda like the idea.
I've been contemplating a wait-motorized set of backup lights. Meaning, the truck has to be in reverse for 2-3 seconds, and then it actuates some form of mechanical dropping device that lowers the lights below the bumper/pan and flips them on. It would be even better if the lights were like KC DayLighters, and switched for those pesky midnight tailgaters!

Re: cool back-up light idea..
Awesome. I want to do that, but mount the LEDs under my bumper for sleekness.

Re: cool back-up light idea..
I seen these a while back on V-LEDs website and was toying the idea of getting them but was a little apprehensive....LMAO, not anymore. I already have their 7w back up lights so this should be a nice addition.

Re: cool back-up light idea..
Cool idea, I'm going to have to do something like that when I get rid of my reverse lights.

Re: cool back-up light idea..
x2 on it being bright..
curious if these have voltage regulators built into them as leds cant take varying voltage as much as an incandescent bulb

Re: cool back-up light idea..
Thats a great idea... i like it alot.... only one problem, here in my neck of PA having something like that on your ride is like screaming for a local cop to screw with you. They already have a local law passed if you have LED tail lights and your vehicle didn't come with em from the factory, the cops can pull you over and ticket you.... that's total BS! Welcome to PA!

WTF?
What is the reasoning behind this? They are brighter and light up quicker when you apply the brakes. Only valid reason I see to give out tickets would be the whole hyper flashing deal.
