I will post up some pics as soon as I have something ready. Like I said I'll do the OBS first so if there is anything you'd like different on the lenses you're sending I can get you input before I start on em.
I got some killer ideas forming also but nobody else has done it so I am keeping it quiet till I try it.

It's not final of course but preliminary research looks like I( should be able to do the simple LED bank of solid color for $100 with a $50 exchange or $100 flat if you send me your lights.

Are you going to do them like the caddy lights? where the is like a row of two or three down the side, then the whole thing lights up when the brake, or turn signal is applied? |

Don't worry I will make em cool and good looking or I won't sell em. I ain't one to get discouraged if the first design needs revision though.
What exactly do you mean about the caddilac ones DJ? Theese? If so then no I am not likely making those. I'd like to gut the internals including the diffuser/reflector and form fit leds to the smooth outside lense only. But I think that would require the whole core/exchange need. If you wanted to buy a used pair off ebay and ship em to me that could work to. Just because to make something anyone can install themself is going to mean you all having to hack up your own lights. The easiest way I can think of right now would be for me to make sepperate pannels for each section of the light and you'd have to cut the back of each off square. Without a mill or a drill press that's gonna be hard to get straight with a dremmel. It would also leave the reflector in. But I am not so sure removing that will look the best yet. But it's all conjecture Till I get some parts in. The list is about half on order now to get started. Still need to go to ACK Radio and get some resistors and shrink wrap etc... On the NBS side: I'll be working on locating some amber LEDs soon But I think we all might like Bright yellow more it will appear brighter that way.

I have a question. What make of Cadillac are we comparing looks too so I can see how they look like lit up?
I am aware that we are not talking about the actual lights themselves but I want to keep a look out for the appearance of the lighted look they give. Chris.
