doesnt look like a bad kit to start out with, you cant go wrong with devilbiss.

i started with a sharpe finex for about $150. did quite a few nice jobs with it. it only lasted a few years tho. now im using an iwata & a sata.

Re: hows this gun
For spraying a frame black, and priming a truck, I'd go with the $50 gun from harbor freight. It will work plenty good for what you're trying to do, and if you figure out you don't like painting, you only lost $50. lol

Re: hows this gun
What do you have for an air compressor? The Finishline 3s are great entry level guns but they tend to be alittle more of an air hog than some others. Think they are rated at 13-15cfm at 23psi.

I have have acouple of GFG-670s and those are great with a smaller compressor (9cfm@30psi). Although 1 GFG-670 with acouple tips will cost as much as two Finish Lines. It's really nice having more than one gun when doing BC/CC.

Don't rule out Astro's guns either. Great entry level guns, I have acouple of those too and the newer ones are nice. Their EVOs are great LVLP guns.

Some link for you.
