Belt Molding Replacement... How To?
The belt molding on my 1990 1500 is rotted & cracked up. Lots of times, it sticks to my arm in chunks while I am driving. Can someone point me to a link or explanation on how to pop off the old stuff & replace it?
Do I have to remove the door panels (inner) and the plastic trim, etc? Thanks.... <<<---I have a Dodge Dakota that idles like the first 20 seconds of "Hot For Teacher."

Re: Belt Molding Replacement... How To?
Yep door panel needs to come off and the side mirrors. To get the old stuff off just use a flat head screwdriver and lift on the metal tabs that hold it on. Don't worry about bending it because you have new stuff. For the inner carefully take out the orig staples and install with rivits or new staples.
