Undercoating
I'm thinking about undercoating the rear wheel wells...anyone do this? This something I can do myself? If so what to use? Appreciate any info, TIA.

Many people clean up their frame and wheel wells. Some use POR 15, some use black spray paint, but I use this stuff. It needs to be done each year to look good but it isn't to expensive and is easy to apply.

ive done it to my 79, just got a can of 3M undercoat and put like 3 layers on, stop rust and looks good in my book
1979 Silverado- 5/7 drop, 20s, soon to be painted
1992 Silverado- just cause it was the right thing to do

Thanks for the replies. Crazy thought but can something like a Rhino Liner material(or other spray on bed liner stuff) be used?

im sure it can, but it would prolly cost more than undercoat per can

I'd buy 3. I usually use just shy or 3 for the frame that is visible from under the doors and in the rear wheel wells. I also us the stuff in both wheel wells, the hitch, and all the lift parts, and stuff hanging in the front under the air dam. Basically everything that isn't painted that I want black.

I've though about getting a gallon of that bed liner stuff and trying it. BTW, a can costs around 3-5 dollars I believe.
