'86 Diesel cluster vs. Gas cluster
I just obtained a pair of 1 ton GMC trucks that were previously ambulances. They are both 6.2L Diesel automatic and 4x4.
One truck has a bad fuel and voltage gauge. Sending unit measures OK at 55ohms. My question is... will a gauge cluster from a gasoline truck from this era work in my diesel? The only difference I see is the label on the fuel gauge. There are 10+ gas clusters on eBay. Diesel fuel gauge alone is $50+ from LMC. Any help is appreciated. |
