Yes its the saem on both side. But as mentioned before this color coding is not going ot work as well as I want it too because colors did change a bit through the years.

I will post up a number coded version soon.

They will be available for Door panel swaps WITH power , Cluster swaps, and A/C heater controls which will include proper relays in place.

This will allow for a quick safe way to adapt one style to the other!

The answer would be yes

Yes once you wire up for the new dash an escalade cluster is a direct drop in.

Re: 88-94 to 95-98 All Swap Info Compile
For all of us that have done this conversion.. I was just wondering if this might help.. I ran into this picture in this forum.. Would this 95-98 steering wheel be a direct replacement for our 88-94 steering column? It would be a great start.. if you dont want to spend the extra cash on the whole column and go through all the trouble.. check it out

it seems to be this on the pic.. anybody?

Re: 88-94 to 95-98 All Swap Info Compile
The door swap info on this page makes no sense. I posted info before on how to do it. The info given here is well worthless, show me this 95-98 3 pin harness I would love to see it.... Search for my info, silveradoSS can back it up to say it works.

Re: 88-94 to 95-98 All Swap Info Compile
i did a thread on it awhile back, with pin numbers and that you needed to add two wires to the harnesses.. realy easy. let me find the link

http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forums/...ght=door+panel

there is a better description of how to work later in the thread then the first post. The post would make sense if you had the harness and the door locks in your hand.

As far as the 95-98 steering wheel on the old style column goes ... its possible ... its a bolt on procedure BUT it would look TURBO-GAY becuase the column is way to skinny ...

I know it only looks half as good as the complete wheel with steering column.. but if it is a direct swap, then its a ggod start if you cant afford the time and money to do the whole cloumn swap. At least you know you are only needing the column to purchase later when you have more time and money..

Another thought ? would the cover on the new column someway fit in the old column?

Re: 88-94 to 95-98 All Swap Info Compile
Has anyone done the cluster swap using the 88-90 style truck? The connector is different then the 91-94 style. I don't have the wiring diagram so I can't figure it out myself.

There the same plugs on the 91-04 as the 95 up I believe ... well from looking at my dads 96. Im not positive about the wiring BUT it SHOULD be the same as what has been described.

Re: 88-94 to 95-98 All Swap Info Compile
No, the 88-90 must be different. The connector looks different and the pins are not labeled. I mest around with it a little bit today but I can't figure out the speedo and oil pressure. Do I need a DRAC to do the conversion?

Yea you need to do the Drac conversion in order to make this work.

can i see a pic of the inner panels after you got them wired up...or can i see pics of all the cuttin slicin that needs to be done...i need ideas on what to use and were to rout them so they dont get in the way of the window.....also why do we have to add 2 wires...all the other threads about this swap just shows a color code to match them up and go.....

after work this afternoon i plan on doing the driver one and putting hte panels on for the final time. Ill take pics and give you the color break down in a easy to read format. All these online i couldnt understand for some reason, so i just went off a diagram. You have to add two for your locks to work. the ones you add connect your switch to the driver side switch. if you dont add them than you have no locks. its very simple.
