Just alittle heads up, there is a new legislation in the Senate ( Texas ) to make the law from 25% to 35% NET( lighter )
Granted I dont think it will pass , ever couple of years some Senator gets a hair up their butt and tries this.
If passed it will take affect Sept. 1st affecting cars and trucks purchased after the bill takes affect.
But like I said doubt it will take. Since I do this I`ve seen this several times all the years I`ve been tinting.

in VA, you can have the rear side and rear windows tinted as dark as you want on SUVs and vans. they forgot to mention that so just thought id let everyone know...

I'm pretty sure that nationwide, if you own a van you can black out the windows. Granted you have the appropriate mirrors to pass the DOT visibility tests. Not 100%, but pretty sure

yeah my 2 door tahoe has 2 layers of 2.5 on back 4 windows and one layer of 2.5 on front two doors 35 on windshield and 2 eleven inch strips of black vinyl on top and bottom of windshield my **** is black a flash light cant even see me

SC tint laws, nothing on the windshield, 27% on the driver and passenger side, and on any back windows anything you want. but if you have tinted windows, you're required to have side mirrors, dont know why you wouldn't have them already but.
NC is the same thing but 35% instead of 27%

Texas is 35% on front windows and you can black out all the rest as long as you have both side mirrors. GOD BLESS TEXAS!!  I have 5% on front doors and 2 1/2% over the stock privacy glass on all the rears. A/C went from maintaining 73 degrees on a 100 degree day to 65

Im in cali and i have limo all around lol i will prob have to take it off soon though (tryin to become a cop and they bust your balls for it) but as soon as i pass bet your but i will have limo back on her! Good thing right now all my fam are cops if i get fix it tickets i dont have to fix them hahaha

I have done my past trucks with 5% around and 35 windshield% and cant stand riding with people that dont have tint.

Michigan's laws are a joke!! I run tint on all of my vehicles. Limo all the way around. The last cop that stopped me said the tint law was for officer safety, I told him to go train in another state that allows tint so he would feel safer. Needless to say I got more than a tint ticket that day!!
