Maine your tint has to be 50% all around and you have to have it certified maine blows

yeah, i just learned the other day that CT also needs to have all the aftermarket tints tested by the DMV or DOT to get a cert. sticker for each tested window. The officer i was talking to said dont worry about it since no one ever does it, hah.

Far as front windows in Cali you basically cant do sh!t lol must allow 70% of sunlight through....I plan on 15% and the back will be pitch black..

I got 20% in all of my windows except windshield. It is illegal to have the front tinted but I don't care. I have not been stopped in a long time.

5% on driver, passenger, and rear window with a sunstrip on windshield..illegal but who cares...HYPOS!!!..thats who!!...got a ticket for my limo tint...the city cops dont really care around here..its the highway patrol who get on your ass...

What cracks me up is that they say that the rears need to be 35% in TN. Factory tint is darker than that. Dont know how you would fix that. hahaha

27% on the fronts in SC......
I paid someone to do the wifes and was told only 35%....  But they also said the rear could be as dark and wanted, so I added 5% to the stock 20% and that can only be 27% also....  Oh well, after 3.5 years, not been pulled over yet in any state it's travelled though.
Did do 20% on the front of the truck and the HHR and additional 20% to all rear windows. Have not been pulled over for tint yet.

At least you can tint. NH doesn't even allow front/side tint.
