OBS bucket seat alternatives

hi guys, just did my seats. took out my bench seat and picked up the 40/20/40 combo. funny thing is the seats i picked up came out of a 93' Teal Green chevy just like mine except for the differences in the bed mine being the sportside. i love the way they feel and look, much better than my full bench.







love the fact that they just bolted right in. family loves them too, now that they can adjust the seats seperatly. i picked up the seat for $100.00, and there is are no tears,burns,rips, etc...the only thing i am gonna fix is the material where the seat bolts to the floor is a lighter grey color than the truck, gonna match them later. man i love these seats.

been thinking that some seat covers would be nice. what would you guys do for seat covers? would you go grey like the stock interior or would you go with the green to match the outside of the truck? any and all ideas accepted, thanks.

Hi guys i was wondering if anybody can help me out: i bought 2 front manual seats from an 02 Silverado EXT Cab w/o the center console(i want to put 4 RF 8" HX2's) and want to install them in a 93 GMC Sierra Reg cab: will they fit? or what mods will i have to do, if any? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

why dont u start a new thread on this. this thread is about putting boneville seats and other direct bolt in seats in an OBS. not to be mean but all you guys with other questions start a new thread. u will find you will get more answers.

and to answer your question they will fit, any seat will fit, but you are going to have to build a bracket they wont just bolt in

Hey guys,
I just replaced my 60/40 bench with some power leather buckets. One of the easiest swaps I have ever done! I had to drill one hole, which was the front right hole on the drivers side. Even though I had a bench seat, the back right hole of the drivers seat bracket was already there. The passenger seat bolted right up. Very easy, and looks much better. Now I just need a center console...

Are you planning on getting those recovered soon? That drivers looks pretty rough but good idea on the seats.

ya i plan on covering them in a couple weeks.. i need to finish my center console first..

i dont need the power that these had.. so i made my stock rails fit the impala seats.. came together real easy...

Hi there im new at this site and I've got to thank you all for this thread, it has a lot of valuable information. I my self want to put bucket seats on my 86 C10 but I really don't know where to start. I would really appreciate your advice on which bucket seats I can use from other cars to fit my truck.

your from san jo? ill put whatever seats you want in your truck and do your interior....
