Re: OBS bucket seat alternatives
Seeing the SS seats is making me wonder if I can nab some Roadmaster seats, but I'm not so sure they're true bucket seats now that I think of it.

They will fit you just need to drill four holes for the inner mounting brackets.

92 or a 93 none of the holes are close to matching up. Now the guy at the shop is saying it will be 350 to 400 bucks to drill new holes and weld plates.

Re: OBS bucket seat alternatives
OK, guys, I have a 94 full size Blazer 4x4, with the American Luxury Coach package(leather bucket seats). So, if I have this correct, I can use a set from a 88 - 99 truck, blazer, or burban, or a set from a 92 - 00 Bonnie!?! If I missed any please ley me know, cause I have been looking for months and I can't find any within a 4 hour drive of me that is the color(red/maroon) that I need!

Also, I've read some people saying something about dying seats, can this be done on leather and cloth, and does it work well??? Cause I found a couple of sets og grey locally, and this might be a better option for me, if it works good!!! What kind of prices have you guys paid for a good set? The ones I found range from $300 - $500.

My drivers seat is broken and I welded part of it so I can drive it for now, and the guy I bought the truck from was a painter and he got paint all over the seats, and they are worn too. So I want to get another set. By the way those Bonnie seats look really comfy!!! Hope I can find a set of those!!! ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks, in advance!!!!!

For comfort, adjustability, and comfort try and find some Bonneville seats from a '92- '97 RPO code AL7. These are the most comfortable seats I have ever set my ass in. I couldn't find any for my truck but I'm still looking. Usually found in the SSEi model Bonny. They mostly come in leather, but did make some with cloth covering.

Re: OBS bucket seat alternatives
Unbolt the bonneville seats from their power units (4 13mm bolts. Unbolt the truck seat from its power unit. bolt bonneville seat to the truck power slider unit. Do the same for the passenger side/non power unit.

Good luck on that one, those bolts are pretty hard. Use lots of lube, and run the bolt out a few turns, and then back in. Repeat this again and again, running the bolt back out a few more turns each time. If that doesn't work, the only thing I could think to do is cut the head off the bolt, (I don't know how much access you have to it) cut a slot in the top, and run it out down through the bottom.
