Re: 08 Silverado interior rattle
I have the 2007 Crew cab LTZ and I also have a rattle in the rear passneger side. A few times I thought it was the jack clunking around, but alas, it comes back.

Re: 08 Silverado interior rattle
Update!
The truck in now 7 months old, and I have just over 20,000kms on it.
First of all the mileage. These days I am getting excellent mileage on the highway. Could probably get a solid 800 or slightly more kms out of the 98 litre tank. My 01 might squeek out 675 on the same size tank.
Now for the rattle. It actually went away for quite a while then one day it was back. It was in for an oil change yesterday and I mentioned it to the service guy. We went out to have a look at it and when I grabbed the seatbelt mount it was unreal how loose it was. Turns out there is a broken washer on the mount. They are ordering me an entire new seatbelt and mounting parts. Kind of a relief knowing there really was something wrong and that it will be fixed.

Re: 08 Silverado interior rattle
I've seriously not had any issues with my 07. I did hear early on there was a problem with the cable on the power sliders breaking,.. and something with the power steering pump leaking.

I've been EXTREMELY happy with my 07. I've averaging 15-16mpg around town, and 18-19mpg highway. Thats with the Vmax, Diablo, GM intake and 4.10 gears.

I'd just stay after the dealer till they fixed or came up with a solution for the rattles cause let me tell ya,... It would drive me nuts. I HATE RATTLES. Hopefully the dealership will help you.

Good luck
Steven

Re: 08 Silverado interior rattle
I guess you never read my last entry. The problem has been identified, and the dealer is going to fix it.
