Re: Dash SWAP. 2000 in a 85
WOW looks like it would be a lot easier than I thought. I could have swore that the newer trucks where an inch or two wider.
1993 FSB 4x4 stock for now.

Future plans: Cummins 4BT, BUILT 700r4, Stock t-case (maybe a 205), Sterling 10.25 rear, 8 lug D44 front, OBA, Home brew bumpers, 03 front end conversion.
It's gonna be like sex for the eyes.

Re: Dash SWAP. 2000 in a 85
Put a the steering column in, not permanently, the steering wheel is gonna stick out too far, so i think i will buy an aftermarket wheel, once i finish.

HERe is how i like to drive, six foot two does not do well super close to the steering wheel

I put some foam in the gaps, trimmed it and am gonna probably go over it with either some clay or filler, glass over it, so it meets the stock a pillar covers, that i have already added tweeters to.

Stockers But a little diff. originally i had some gauges in the door panels, and they did not fit with this dash. Here are the panels.

I will have to move the gauges, hopefully the symbols can stay though.
THanks for all the compliments ya'll

Re: Dash SWAP. 2000 in a 85
the one piece windows were still in low production numbers at the time of the install. The fit was aight but the weatherstripping could have been better. But they look killer. I would buy them and install them before paint though. Just to check the fit we had to widen the window channel a bit to get it to fit right.
