questions about power windows, locks, and cruise
My power locks and cruise control don't work. I just bought the trucks and they were like that when I got it. What could be causing them to do that? I've checked all the fuses under the dash but all seam ok. There are 2 big metal incased fuses that I have no way of knowing if they are fine. Could it be one of them?
Also, The power windows work fine, on the driver side. The passenger side window doesn't go down with power. When I bought the truck, the guy I bought it from gave me a complete kit to replace the track, motor, gears, and that other stuff. Well I can replace all that fine, I just need to get some replacement pop rivits. My question is this, the switch on the passenger side door for the window, the wires have been pulled out, and the little plastic peice that holds them in is missing, where can I get one of those at? I really need the cruise control more than anything right now as I'm starting a new job where I'll be driving 100 miles a day mostly highway. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
