Silverado Cluster Programming
I have a 2002 Silverado Z71 and my cluster has the usual bad odometer/gear selector display. I can find good used Silverado HD or Denali clusters(with upgraded Trans Temp Guage),BUT can't find anyone to program the vin or mileage so it will be correct in my vehicle(3 dealers were USELESS). I know they will simply "plug and play"(tried one in the driveway with driving around), but I don't want any headaches down the road with the vin or mileage being wrong. I found a guy in Connecticut that wants a "arm and a leg" to do it and he's impossible to talk to. Any suggestions?

Re: Silverado Cluster Programming
if you can find a speedo shop they usually can do it. I know there's a few people you can send them off to with a latest service record that will program it for around 60 bucks. I don't remember them off the top of my head but a google search should pop most of them up.
