Question Gauges and dash has Mind of own
I have a 2003 2500hd. While driving the security light comes on, then brake warning lights, then gauges drop out and chimes comes on,then radio goes off. They may drop out progressing through part way or maybe just Security light then goes out. No effect on running. I think AC cuts out last after the others although I think that is last in progression and only once or twice. Thanks Tom

Re: Gauges and dash has Mind of own
i know a guy who was pulling another truck out of the ditch in reverse with a similar model truck, i know it was the nbs, and when he was finished, his speedometer read 30 MPH sitting still, and all kinds of wierd stuff... idk if there is any relation, but i know the computers do som funky sh*t when a different kind of stress is put on the vehicle- sorry, but i dont know any fix.

My future ride... I hope!!!-

That time period of trucks has a recall on the gauges. Go to your local dealership.

Re: Gauges and dash has Mind of own
There is a common ground under the dash that gets loose and causes symptoms like you describe. I've had this happen on three 1500's and one S-10.
