need some help wit painting door panels

ok....was going into the whole process of painting my interior plastic pieces...and dash...and i didnt wanna leave the door panels out so i got everyting ready for paint except the door panels...cause a friend painted his door panels an now the paint is crackin and coming off...anybody out there wit some advice on how to paint my door panels wit out them crackin or any probs going wrong with them.

are you using vinyl/plastic duplicolor paint or regular spraypaint?

they told me they are vynil....and i just got my new spray gun so im gonna use some dupli color if i cant get a near by shop to mix the paint to match

If you are concerned get some vinyl prep and adhesion promoter ment for plastic and vinyl.

i would fiberglass over the panels if you want that smooth look. but if you just wanna change the color then sem makes vinyl and plastic dye. http://www.autostyles.com/sem.htm

SEM is great. You might be able to find it at Carquest, that's where I get mine.

after cleaning thoroughly, spray them with BULLDOG adhesion promter.
