Denali console swap?

i found someone who has done this and i was wondering what you guys think?

Just click that link and scroll down to the body lifted 2 door where the guy has done some cool inside work.

Is this smart to try? my console is currently making me mad because it vibrates and makes some loud noise with my exhaust somehow and i cant figure out where its coming from to fix it, but i think that something to take advantage of the extra floor space would be sweet.

Thanks to cash for clunkers. I got Denali heated, power leather seats and a full console for $90 at the scrap yard. I will be installing it this weekend and Ill let you know. The console is long and I have a regular cab Im hoping it fits without trimming.
