Haha, i would like to run bigger but for that price and radials with the beadlock wheels, its a good deal i cant pass up right now. They will be decent set of snow tires. Ill end up running 40s next summer.

I wouldnt put anything bigger than 35's, 36's maybe... on a 1/2 ton chassis. Unless you have SAS(dana 60 up front) and 14 bolt or (dana 60) in back. But what do i know. I'm just an apprentice mechanic...

35's with 10" of lift and cutouts? thats just gay. Just keep semi flat cv angles and dont romp on it too hard and it should be ok. The 10 bolt might not do very good with 38's though, but you can get a 14b for a couple hundred bucks so that solves that problem.

Then he'd better go ahead and get that 14 bolt, because my 10 bolt destroyed itself with 35's

yes, they were on my 75 ford halfton with 9" coils and shackle flip before that....lots of fun with manual drum brakes and armstrong steering!!!
those tires were so weired to drive on because they were so wide, but so smoothly non agressive that they followed crack and such on the road even with dual stabilizers.

Re: 92 Chevy 4wd Cutout flares/3"BL/6.5" DC lift.. Tire size to run?
The size im really thinking of running is a 38/15/15. Looks good height still looks small.. The only reason im saying this is cuz my buddy is running them on his 1/2 ton with the procomp lift and 3" body and cutouts.
And i did run into someone i know today again with 38.5/15/15s... And they They didnt look like 38s.. Procomp lift with a 3" body. This is a bad picture. I should have parked next to him and taking pictures from the side etc etc. I might tomorrow. But im not even sure a 38/13/15 will be wide enough for my taste. I would rather run a 38/15/15.. If i dont plan on taking her offroad this year.
Here is a picture of his truck.. Picture online do no justice for the actuall size of these lifted trucks, its so crazy how much bigger everything is in person.

ill be going 39.5 iroks soon if i keep my truck. thatll be with a 14 bolt SF, cutouts, and 4.88s. 36s are starting to looks small! guy here where i live ran 39.5s with that setup for about a year and wheeled it a few times a week on average. trucks still rolling around town but its new owner has it on 37s still going strong.

Im going to buy the used 38/13.50s/ with the beadlock wheels for $1400 for now. They are radials and will be good through the summer and winter. Then that way during the winter i can save for some 40s and work on some drivetrain upgrades. Then play around next summer.
