92 Chevy 4wd Cutout flares/3"BL/6.5" DC lift.. Tire size to run?
Honestly with cutout flares, 3"BL and the DC 6.5" kit. Whats the largest tire i could really stuff??
40s?
And what is the tire i should really run on a over lifted 1/2 ton truck?
35/15.50?
36/13.50?
37/14.00?
All radials of course.

i dont think a 40 is gonna fit. im putting a 15 inch total lift on my OBS to clear 40s. id say a 37 at the most.

I had 6-7" of lift with these very cutouts and ran 40" boggers. They rubbed when turning, but drove them on the street for a bit. After it was lifted about 12" and if the axle was moved forward and inch or so would be fine.
I'd say 40" would be pushing it, but think it's doable...38s should clear easy.

Lol you can fit 37's on just the DC lift. I really think you could run some 39.5/13.5 Iroks on there if you wanted too, but I would only go as big as a 38 b/c of IFS, tranny, etc...

I can run 41"s with my setup so with cutouts and it being a OBS I dont see why you couldnt run 41"s without rubbing.

As far as your truck hating you...Its true but you can deff. help out with that. If your set on going big re-gear for sure upgrade your rear axle, and tranny if you can afford it...The biggest ive ran on my truck is 37x13.5's an its holding up great..Ive broke 2 cv's but that was due to my right foot.

Re: 92 Chevy 4wd Cutout flares/3"BL/6.5" DC lift.. Tire size to run?
Well my daily driver is babied, i run my own business from home and only schedule showings 3 times a week. So i really only drive hardcore every three days out of the week. My god, im going to have to do some thinking now.
Im very surprized about the size i can run...
wow.
And as for regearing and tranny work. I would eventually get there with time, i never cheap out with anything i build.

Im running 40's with no cutouts and no prob at all, despite what some people will tell you. Dosent looked stuffed at all either. I'd say with cutouts you can fit em.

There is a 94 in my town 1/2 ton s/b with a 6_3 and 39's with no problems. I personaly would not put anything bigger than a 35-36 on a 10 bolt
