no..... and sorry but im not really even sure if u guys have the same keys or not if so, you could use the ford keys, a member here did install heavy bars on his tahoe, and had to do a little bit of welding to make it work.

I have the GL bars. When I installed my lift I was going to put the "green" keys in. I had a 7 ton puller. With those bars and the green keys, I couldnt install them. There was so much tension the T-bar bracket started to give way. I put a long center punch in the place where the bolt bracket would go. If it wasnt for that the punch, the whole thing would have came down on me. Needless to say, I installed the stockers and sold the green ones. That was one of the few things that ever scared me.

I've got the WL bars on my stock height silverado 00' I have to crank my bars ALL THE WAY to level my truck. If I go to a 3/4 ton bar, do I need different keys too, or will the ones I have work?

Ford Keys are The " Hack" way to lift your truck.

If you are gonna lift your truck this way, get ready to start breaking parts.

One more thing to add. You should always put a fat clump of grease on top of the keys before you install them.

Is there a difference between Rancho and heavier-rated GM bars? Should I go with Rancho or GM bars?

Also, does Ford make a key for OBS Tahoes? If so whats the part number?

the heavier rancho bars are very simular to the GM bars, and ford doesnt make a key for the new trucks, they just happen to do this.... uhrmm i know aim makes one for the obs trucks though.

I know ford doesnt make them for chevys, they just happen to work that way. What I mean was is there a torsion bar key that will fit OBS tahoes....besides OEM ones.

Here is the Ford key part number:
XL3Z5B328CA
A good place to get them is Ford Parts Online
**These keys work best on 1/2 tons

For the 3/4 ton trucks and above use the "green key" or the 1/2 Chevy key. 15592573 you can get them from GM Parts Direct

so a ford key will not work on a 2500 HD.. it only takes the green key?

Well you can use the ford keys, but the green keys acheive more what you would be looking for.
