if you have never had your bars out, then you need to get a BFH and a pin or large punch and go to town, just dont hit your fingers, i did and it hurt

I have a really nice BFH, but they weren't even budging, but i didn't got to town on it actually, i only beat on it for about 5 minutes, then got frustrated and decided to just crank the key's all the way up. it should fit my new 33's just fine.

i'll end up putting the key's in later though haha

When I unscrewed the adjusting screw, the key stayed stuck at the top, as if the screw was still tightened all the way. Why?

I guess, I was kind of scared to beat it down, so I just tightened the screw up again.

I'm having a problem getting my LCA screws back in, it doesnt seem to want to line up. Would a tense torsion bar be the cause of that?

it would probably help, ive heard nothing but great things about bilstien 5100's, my truck rides pretty rough and ive only got the stock keys cranked up along with a 6" lift and im going to go with the bilstiens sometime in the future. what size tires are you running? with those green keys just be ready to replace ball joints much more often then normal because of the added stress of being cranked up that high. ive replaced my uppers twice in 2 years and again thats still with stock keys.

why did you put green keys in just to run 285's? they fit fine with stock keys cranked. your shocks may also be just plain worn out, are they stock and how many miles on them?
