stuffing meats is one thing, but I thought one of the top rules of lifting a truck is 'GO WIDER AS YOU GO HIGHER'

You raised the center of gravity. You have managed to raise the trucks center of gravity 6" with lift + around 3" for tires - based on a stock 32" tire.

So, 9" of height increase, with absolutely no wider stance to stabilize it while cornering, etc. Not to mention the side to side flex of a large tire with a lot of sidewall on a narrow rim.

I wouldn't trust that setup on highway driving personally. Cornering in mud and dirt is more forgiving, but one high speed evasive maneuver on the highway or paved roads, and I say good luck! Looks are one thing, but safety is also a factor.

Thanks yall

About it being taller and not wider, gimme some time. I cant do everything at once and still make my payment Remeber Im only 17 and still goto school

I will soon get some wider rims...and yes the Black Rock crawlers our at the top of my list.

As for rear, I like to have the 2" squat. I know it it gonna be worse for flexing and stuff meaning a little more trimming, but Ya gotta love the Squat down here in Fl. When I save up some more money, I was thinking about getting all springs both sides for $130

And for the "pizza cutter" people....

Looks good bro, glad to see you finally got a lift. My compliments on the tires, brings back memories. If you go with 10" wheels, I think it will be perfect as the tires will have the shape that mine did. I bet your truck is a badd unit in the mud, be sure to take some video or pics.

Ok First off....DAMN!! looks good man, I agree about the rear...maybe raise it by an inch or so and you'll be set, I'm sure the weight of that bumper causes it. It would be like my fat a$$ standing in the back all the time. And as for this part......

Truck and pics look great even in the rain. At 17 yrs old I think you have a great start on your truck. Hopefully I'll have my truck lifted soon.

Thanks again for all the comments guys I trimmed a little more up today on my rear fenders, so that should be fine for flexing now...and Yes I'll be sure to post some pics. I finally got around to measuring my fenders:
Front - 47"
Rear - 45.2"

About the disowning my town...naw...still running big ol tires with hardly any lift

I got to looking, I'd definalty have alot of trimming to do running 8" wide wheels. Maybe if I could get the same back spacing as my stocks ones, just 8" wide, I might be able to get by with little trimming.

As for gas milage so far....its looking the exact same as when i had my 315's on. Kinda weird I know...but I aint complainin

But that still wouldnt help any, for getting rid of the rubbing on the torsion bars. There is only one way to stop that, less backspacing.

Is nots really that bad...the only time they rub, is on a full lock, and they just barely hit it. I was looking into wider wheels for a little bit wider stance.
