Re: Lift Specs
I have a 2000 4.8 Regular Cab, Long Bed Silverado 4x4. I just recently put 285/75/16's on the truck. It rides good, but I want to throw some 33x12.50's on there. Am I able to put them on the truck with stock suspension as long as I crank the torsion bar all the way up or am I gonna have to get a 3" body lift and then see if there's any torsion bar adjustments from there?

Re: Lift Specs
bump on some info for obs stuff
got a 97 yukon and am new to trucks, not sure who makes the best lift for my truck, looking for something moderate with a max of 6", not sure whats more common 3 body 3 suspension, but then again i dont really see the point of putting a 3" suspension lift on anything, probably run a 6" suspension and no bl

Re: Lift Specs
What Type of lift would you recommend putting on a 2008 silverado 2500hd I would really like to have an 8 inch lift but it looks like I would be better off getting the 6" lift.
I don't know the difference in Lifts, What the majority of the people I have talked to said go with PRO COMP or with FAB TECH. Im just looking for everyones input

Re: Lift Specs
Alright, I have an '03 Chevy 1500 Z71 and I want a more aggressive stance for my truck. I want to avoid cranking the torsion bar at all costs and I have looked through the 4 wheel parts catalog at the different leveling/body lift kits and I don't know which brand too do or which way to go. I dont want to lift over 3 inches, which route should I go?

Re: Lift Specs
Awesome post I remember looking at this before I lifted my 2000 Silverado Stepside, however the BDS 6" lift for the NBS trucks is a 1 piece welded member and I am pretty sure the Diff drop is only 3.5", eliminating the need (in most cases) for a CV style drive shaft.
Just a Heads up
Otherwise awesome post

Re: Lift Specs
I thought you did not have to replace the front drive shaft with the Procomp 6" on 07-09 4X4?

Re: Lift Specs
It will just say (3/4 ton 8 lug) it will also show it as a 10" kit but thats rear spring height and the front sits about 1.5"- 2.0" higher than the rear also here is the site!!!! www.wholesalesuspensionoutlet.com
