Lift Specs
Well its been talked about for months now, so here it is. A detailed spreadsheet with info on all common lifts for NBS 4x4 half ton trucks, other series of trucks will be added soon, such as obs trucks, HDs and 2wd. If you see a blank and know the info that should go there, post it here, the list is far from complete. Also feel free to let me know of errors, there could be some. I hope this is usefull for some people, and I will add more info quickly.

Finally..... Dark E..... you have done this site a great service.
Here is my input.
RCD - I would list the diff drop at 4.5" or "approx 4.5" because it might be 4 5/8". I have never measured it exactly but its about 4.5" .... just like Ranchos.
Rancho - I just saw a new dual/triple front loop from Rancho in the latest mag... (I think Off Road Adventure mag or 4 wheeler or Four Wheel and Off Road) Its not even on the Rancho site but I'm sure someone can confirm it.
Rancho - I think has optional rear traction bars and rear dual shocks for NBS... not 100% sure.
Good Job Dark Eternal !

If someone could confirm this info on the rancho lift (trac bars and front and rear shock kits) ill add it in. The info on the RCD lift is now updated.

the rancho triple shock kit is a CONFIRM
trac bars are a no, and rear shocks are a no(i dont see um)
i checked the app guides www.gorancho.com
RCD uses drop knuckles and pro comp 5 inch is a 2 piece subframe, CST does NOT come with any shocks, and Full Throttle is a 10 inch diff drop i think. it was on their old site. i like this chart, cognito uses hangers and shackle flip, and cst does have an optional skip plate(which fits superlift), also fabtech triple kits fit rcd and rancho

This is something im going to add. I am actually going to make it the MAX backspacing, because you can always technically run a lower one. This is also going to apply for 16" rims, since technically with a bigger rim you can run a higher backspacing since the rim will not intetfere with the caliper.

Caleb, its rancho kits that require 4.5 or less. superlift kits will allow the stock rims (5.5)
btw i need to call you tommorow

I added the HD trucks, the same link leads to a main page now. Its nothing fancy, under construction still. The info in the HD one probably is not very accurate, it still needs a lot of updating. Please, if anyone knows anything let me know, if you have a lifts check it with my info and let me know of errors!

nice job, your making a lot of good effort with this list. one thing, the HD's dont need a new shaft for 6 inches of lift

I've got the Superlift 6-7.5". I didnt need the front driveshaft. Some kits come with a new one depending on were you buy it. Mine didn't. Superlifts site says you only need a front driveshaft if you truck has autotrac.

I know ProComp recommends a 3.5" backspacing according to their literature & speaking with tech support but they said that i should only have minor rubbing if i used a 4.5" which i did.
They also recommend 315's on 8" wheels, but also said that i could get by with 10's. I used 16x8's.

Read the * note, the dual cardon driveshaft is only needed on all 6" if you have autotrac. On bigger lifts though im pretty sure no matter what you need a new one.

Just saw the spec sheet-Great job dude! The only thing that will make it complete will be when you add the backspacing requirements. Again, great job!
