Adding another Spacer to coils that already have one spacer...
Since I'm too cheap to buy new coils...and I'm adding 4 more optima yellow tops to the back of my truck..and I HATE a$$ sag with a passion...would it be ok to add another spacer to my coils..i already have a 1.75" Daystar on the top of my coils..and i was wondering if it is possible/safe/etc to add another spacer to the bottom of the coil...

Jesus that's a ton of batteries which can only mean you are getting more POWER! What setup are you going to run man the ID Maxes? I would not stack the Coil Spacers if I were you though man. that just sounds like bad news waiting to happen.

If I were you, do it right and get new coils. You havent cut any corners on your truck so far (from what I can tell), so why start now?

spacers are bad. get coils. it sucks that you already have coils, things will only get worse from here on.coils run about 150 - 300 dollars

I duno what the big deal would be about having a spacer on top and bottom of the coil..my spacer now can be installed on top or bottom..so...i dont see the big deal in stacking..but im gonna heed yalls advice..not cut any corners...Think im gonna end up gettin me some custom made coils...as for all the batteries and whatnot...my new setup is 2 more of my big amps...so i got 8 amps total now..and 4 IDMAX 12's...it gets down with the program...but...im raping my electrical system...i toasted a custom/janky built 200 amp alternator this weekend..so..i placed my order for a 250 amp Wrangler...no alternator on the market can touch this thing in power/zero noise...but the price sucks...this might be delaying the body lift...i swear..i have more money in the power (batteries, alternator, etc) of my stereo than i do in most people do in there whole truck...this is really pi$$ing me off...spending ungodly amounts of money on $hit just to make the toys run right...

custom coils would be a good idea, especially if you get some more 'heavy duty' ones made. it'd be a tad stiffer, but it won't sag.

I think the stereo is worth more than the truck now...i was lookin at my blue book value and with 56k miles it freakin sucks...i thought about air bags...but...thats talkin about some major coin..and if i did bags...i'd do a solid front axle, bags on all 4 corners and a suspension like a range rover that i could put in highway mode or offroad/pimpin mode...

You could get two bags and mounts and just mount them where the coils are for under $300 if you just run a t fitting and a schrader valve. you could add a compressor and valves later if you wanted.

How about 6ish"coils from a 2500 Suburban or Avalanche? They've got to be stiffer.

The weight is not that much. I had a 15 cubic ft box, 2 stroker 18s, 4 crossfire BMF 1000d's, 4 optima yellow tops, and the amp rack, all in the bed, with all the amps and batteries directly over the rear axle. It dropped my truck about 1/2-3/4 of an inch only. Granted coils in the rear of a tahoe are different that my leaf springs, I wouldnt think it would effect it all that much more. The batteries are only about 40lbs each and the amps are around 20, so maybe another 200-240lbs of weight at the most distributed equally across the entire width of the truck.

The 2500's have leaf springs.

I really think another 200 lbs will put me over the edge...My truck already has a 1.75" spacer and it sits only .5" higher than the front...i can not stand a$$ sag...despise it..hate it...200 more lbs right over the axle is doomed for saggage...especially when accelerating...
