ya it happened to my parents boat, a 21.5 imperial, on the highway about 70, the tire and stuff just went across 2 lanes of traffic and i still to this day dont know how my dad kept it from jack knifing and causing a massive pileup trying to get it off the road. 94 GMC Jimmy towed that think to a stop haha.

that a SF Or FF 14? I thought for some reason you had a FF but i now assum it a sf

Calm and ration have a lot to do with that. To many people freak and that's what gets them into trouble.

My outer bearing retaining clip came out of the groove in the hub. This caused the outer bearing to wobble around and it was all down hill from there.

Your right, If you just break an axle, the wheel wont come out. My problem was within the hub itself, so all of it slid out. The axle shaft was still bolted to the hub and the nuts were still on the spindle.

You can see the outer bearing here. I had to order a new snap ring to go in there, as the old one was getting sloppy and loose.

Have you ever been to brandon, or the florida state fairgrounds? Its about 5 min from there. So maybe around 35min from you. I can wait to get back out there with all the rain we've been having.

Oh, About 4 business or so. Its been non-stop rain here for 2 days or so. It should be fun once I finish breaking in these damn gears. That and I need a ring n pinion for the the front.

you went 5.13s didn't you? guy here in my neighborhood has a BADASS '83 K5 Jimmy (red/white) that has 1-ton axles, 37" tires (Hummer tires, had 38's), about 6" of lift and a pretty built, carb'd 355. he has 5.13's but needs the front gears installed...he doesn't know how to set 'em up so it looks like i'm gonna be doing it...lol.

Im drvin a car now but ive got a 89 f-150 and my 4wheeler. Also my 90 z71 is in the process of getting fixed. Ya i might head up there for some trail ridin. Just let me know. I go to USF mon-thurs.
