Re: Todays wheeling adventures
two vids. in the videos, neither truck makes it but after i stopped, bother were able to make it to the top. the jeep high centered on the diff about 15 feet short of where they are making it to in the vids
buggy from the 2nd vid.
turbo 22R, yota axles. very sweet ride.
and two of the FSC towing the chevari

by the end of the day, broke parts included: busted U-joint on teh red buggy, he wheeled the last two hours with only front wheel drive, busted front shackle on the oranage/blue jeep buggy, and a busted T-case crossmember on teh chevari.

Re: Todays wheeling adventures
i towed the sami for my buddy, and my brother towed the Heep with his truck.
however, i must say my buddy made me very jealous. coming up a hill i hit the bottom doing 65 in my truck, and could hold it steady, he passed me like i was sitting still pulling his buggy and rhino with his CC dually D-max. i really want a D-max

Re: Todays wheeling adventures
i wish i had more places to wheel aorund here. that place is 1.5 hours away from where i live and it is about as close as i have other than local farms and such.
but it is 750 acres of nothing but off road stuff. we covered the entire place 2 or 3 times, starting off with small stuff and saving the stupid stuff for the end of the day, so if we break we break at teh end of the day. but it was getting dark by the time it was no holds barred and would try nearly anything.

i saw that
and i completely agree. i would much rather have to work to get over an obstacle than see something that can simply walk up it without issue.

Re: Todays wheeling adventures
^ Same. I wish I had some more videos from my wheeling yesterday - but I'm pretty sure I did stuff no other stock truck has never done and still came out unscathed. I'll post pix later

Re: Todays wheeling adventures
I know you've been tough on your truck rebel, but I'm slowly following in your footsteps
Although I will say, since I have stock A/Ts, they're definitely no good in anything muddy.

there are people out there that are very hard on stock trucks, and put them places you would no think they would go.
Pics for proof.
i am uploading more pics currently. i will have to see what the other guy has, as he has more pics of the jeep since he was not riding in it. all the pics i am uploading now are off my brother camera.

Re: Todays wheeling adventures
Okay, maybe I got a little carried away with my wording. I'm just excited because every time i go offroad, my truck astounds me at the stuff it can do.
Like this, there were these 2 really nice Jeep wranglers with at leas 35s, maybe 37s that we kept running into yesterday and I was amazed at some of the stuff they bitched out on. Me and my roomate (he's got a suburban with all-seasons, stock height, etc) went right through no problem.
I guess its just the fact that very few people actually use trucks for what they were designed for anymore.

Re: Todays wheeling adventures
most guys in wranglers dont know how to drive or theyre too light or lack lockers. i have seen a tahoe limited 2wd out do a stock wrangler on a hill climb that was epic. i wanted to punch the kid with the limited though because he was trashing it.
