Re: New Forum for 2WD offroaders
I have a 2wd chevy 2500 and it can go through snow and mud that some 4wd trucks cant. Plus when my truck was at stock height, i could clear 33x12.50-16.5 tires no problem. without cutting or trimming anything. And my rims dont have very much backspacing. I find it weird that some 4wd trucks cant clear those tires at stock height.

Re: New Forum for 2WD offroaders
Im not sure how to post pictures yet but the truck in my profile there is my truck with the 33x12.50-16.5's on it. The tires are Mastercraft Courser A/T's. I had the tires on there when the truck was completely stock. The truck is a Chevy 2500. They only rubbed a little on the frame when you turned left with the wheel cranked all the way. Now that i have the leveling kit, they dont rub at all. Im planning on putting a 2 or 3 inch body lift on it sometime.

Re: New Forum for 2WD offroaders
hell my 2wd goes rock climbing, mudding, duneing ,i cant say i get good gas milage but i can bet you ill be the first at the pump. LOL you get your truck setup right depending on your experience you can do alot you really have to look at the power to weight ratio and that is why they have WINCHES!

Re: New Forum for 2WD offroaders
This thread is getting me excited. I have a 96 2wd Cheyenne. I want to take a trip this fall with some freinds and their 4x4's. They say Im crazy, that might be true but I have one bada$$ 2wd. Reading this shows me its possible.

A while back I was driving with a freind (whos 4x4 was broke so we got to waste my gas) we found a nice mudhole, and went in to check it out, he said I should stop, because no 4wd means o good, I said watch this, after a few minutes he was about my 2wd, I guess it is possible.
