Re: The truck is about to transform
I went with a 2" block. And will do the add a leaf if need to. Im getting a shipping label today to send the others back since they shipped the wrong ones.

Yeah my truck is going into the alignment shop after work today. I only have a 4 mile trip to work and theres a shop between here and there so Im not too worried about the tires.

Re: The truck is about to transform
Took mine in for alignment today, they're keeping it.

They said the lower left BJ is giving them all kinds of trouble and won't tighten in the spindle correctly. The ride there was about 15 miles and it scared the crap out of me. The tires were getting eaten up.

Everything should be in line tomorrow, I hope to have pictures up mid-week.

Re: The truck is about to transform
Mine took about an hour to get aligned. They had no problems with it and told me I needed new tires. I replied "no **** really? I thought those were okay to drive on!" Then told them I had new tires on the way. My stockers are baald and the belts are showing in places but I didnt want to put on my new MTZs and then ruin them driving in an unaligned truck

Truck looks 100x better! I'm about to put 4" springtechs on my truck as soon as my wheels come in. Couple questions.. When you got your alignment, did you call ahead to schedule it? And did you have to specify that you'd just installed a new spindle? Last question.. How bad is driving around before you get an alignment? I'm installing my spindles at a friend's house about 10 miles out of town and and worried about driving all the way back on my new tires.

Re: The truck is about to transform
I would call and schedule and let them know you redid the suspension. I had to take my truck to 4 places to get mine done since I work till 5 everyday. Driving around without it aligned is a bit bad. The front of my truck looks like I was doing FWD burnouts but I had to drive almost 40 miles back from where I did mine then had to drive the 4 miles to work the next morning before the shops opened up. If youre only driving 15 to 20 miles itll be ok just dont go 60mph cuz the bumpsteer and everything else gets a little dangerous

Re: The truck is about to transform
Ill get some measurements tomorrow, if I remember to grab a tape measure. Tires rub a bit on the plastic and rub in reverse pretty good. Ive got a bit of trimming to do and need to get my spacers in soon, that should cure all of my rubbing issues.
