Re: 454ss lift?
Let me guess you wanna be a smart and say you have a White 93 with blue interior.
Oh and thanks for the v6 comment at least mine gets 21+ mpg. Sure beats the 383 in my Blazer or the 350 in my Suburban for daily driving.
As for ruining your truck. The only thing in the front that I can remember being different is the sway bar.

Just to throw this out there... a 72 Blazer went for 25,000 on Barrett Jackson and those are more common.

How many 454ss would make it that old in that condition? In theory there should be less because less were made.

Re: 454ss lift?
And i'm just sayin there a lot less mint condition '72 Blazers out there than 454SS's. That makes them rarer, and more collectible.

Ok, When the oldest 454SS is 37 years old, then they may be rare and collectible. They go for anywhere from 5-10k right now.
The ones being driven into the ground, hacked up and wrecked make the remaining originals and nice ones worth more money, and therefore collectible. That's how it works.

Re: 454ss lift?
Throw a 3 inch body lift on there and be done. If you want to return it to stock just take it out.

Re: 454ss lift?
I wouldn't worry about how much the truck might be worth. As long as it is what you want, that is all that matters. For instance, my Scrambler would have been worth more if I restored it. And I would have spent less, but that didn't stop from doing what I wanted.

Re: 454ss lift?
If you take off all big ass stickers, it would look awesome and be a fun truck.
Its the spring rate that is going to be the difference from a regular halfton obs
