Crankshaft Pulley Bolt

Kind of an any car question.

When wrenching on a Bolt for the Crankshaft pulley is it standard thread (as in Righty Tighy Lefty Loosey) or is it opposite since it is on the end of a rotating shaft?

Re: Crankshaft Pulley Bolt

I'm pretty sure it's just standard. The last engine I took apart was a Ford 400 though so it might be different on others.
