Re: Gauging interest for aftermarket spider>MPFI conversion manifold
So I'm going to be replacing "repairing" my intake manifold this weekend. Anything else I should do while I'm at it?

Looking for a ZZ3/4 cam, S10 TC and a nice PCV catch can.

Under $1000.00 (not including tuning) for a plug and play solution and I'm in! Not having a garage sucks!

plug and play is the idea. there may be some soldering/crimping involved, but no major modification.

Somebody on this forum has to know someone who works at Edelbrock. It would be great if we had some "insider information" about this.

Re: Gauging interest for aftermarket spider>MPFI conversion manifold
yeah id get one or two. if it bolts up in stock location to run superchargers and such. i guess it depends on the price though.
even if they made a intake that bolts in place and let us source out the rest that would be ok... still less mods than a marine intake.

Re: Gauging interest for aftermarket spider>MPFI conversion manifold
Yeah, I don't mind the fab work of a marine, but they are so DAMN expensive.

I would gladly purchase a few too.

Re: Gauging interest for aftermarket spider>MPFI conversion manifold
I would definitely consider this the next time the intake manifold gaskets fail and I have to pull the stock manifold off. The marine intake is nice, but it's too involved/expensive for the masses. Something like this is sorely needed for these motors.

Due ot the fact that there are tons of OBS trucks/SUV's out there, I can't see how this wouldn't work out for Edelbrock.

Re: Gauging interest for aftermarket spider>MPFI conversion manifold
At the risk of sounding stoopid, where does the Edelbrock 3505 MPFI conversion manifold for tbi fit into this. It fits vortec heads, uses the tbi for airflow only, has fuel rails with eight injectors and you can get higher flowing injectors. I understand just enough about all this stuff to get really confused.

If it's reasonable, and gets here before I get around to starting on a marine setup I'm there.
