Synthetic ATF
Im about to change my trans fluid, filter, and a good flush, plus put in an HD servo. Ive been running regukar Quaker State ATF and was told that using a synthetic would help out my tranny and tranny temps. Anyone got expereince with synthetic ATF? BTW Im not sure the millage on the tranny, and its a 96 5.7l 4l60e

I've used Mobil 1 synthetic ATF in the trans and transfer case in the past and put a lot of miles on without issue.
1999 Tahoe LS 2-Door 4x4 w/ 3.73 G80. Custom tune from Justin @ Blackbear and a Vette 1 - 2 servo.
Brakestands make for great aroma therapy. |

Motorcycles use synthetic oil that is shared with the wet clutch. The clutch itself is a pack like an automatic has inside.
78 c10, shortbed/stepside: 5/5" drop, muncie M20, 11:1 388 stroker. Playtoy and first vehicle.

Thanks folks, I bought some Mobil 1 syntetic ATF today.
1996 Chevy K1500HD long-box, ext-cab, 327,000km and still goin strong...ish
