From what I understand it should bolt up. But I have also heard that the LS1/LS2 intakes give you higher RPM horsepower but less low-end torque. I have heard that a few diffrent places but It could be wrong info...Anyone else?

He's talking about intake tubes and filters. The intake manifolds aren't swapping out for an LS6 intake unless he has the heads/cam package to back it up.

I don't see why the air intake wouldn't work just fine.

Re: 6.0L intake system work on a 5.3L

From what I understand they are totally identical intakes. I think the 5.3 has a 75mm throttle body, compared to the 80mm on the 6.0, and there is probably a difference in injector size, but with those 5.3 heads it may not be worth it to swap. Your ecu may not like it much, and you won't gain any noticeable power.

The truck intake does flow a bit better than the LS6 at low rpm supposedly, and the ls6 (NOT LS1) intake flows a bit better over 5300 (?) or so, but you wouldn't probably notice the difference. The LS6 also has a 80mm throttle body, FYI
