Re: built vortec 454 vs. built 6.0??
if this is the route your gunna go are you going to remove all 4x4 parts from the truck? cause that will just be worthless weight, and every pound counts.

actually you can. the only part you "need" is the outer stus of the CV and the associated nut. without them, your front hubs will fall apart. everything else can be trashed.

I am still awaiting Fast305's return to answer about the videos he posted. James, if you are gonna go gold on the valve covers, might as well do the wheels to. LOL

The third link even has his screen name in the link Evilmonkey. Check him out for real on DFWRAMS.com

You shouldnt use footage you find online and claim as your own, especially when they are so close to home and so NOT you.

Re: built vortec 454 vs. built 6.0??
This is just awesome. So where are you Fast....... Lieing on some other board about trucks you have never owned. I remember you constantly posting these supposed 4.7 vids...... except the guage cluster never matched the age of the truck you said it was. Even better is that the truck in the videos you linked is 05 and older ( yes its a confirmed 2004) but yet you call it a 2006 and sometimes a 2008. At least rip off videos with the right body style and correct era of dash cluster. Better stick with that sweet pedo van....... or is that some other persons too?
I had an 09 Hemi Ram that I sold because I hated it. Even in 4wd the stupid thing could never 60' better than a 2.3 with all the torque management Dodge has trying to save the 545RFE. Don't care now........ truck is someone elses problem.
My vote is a blown 6.0 litre but I like small blocks, efi and forced induction. Big blocks are fun too........ but the Gen 3's are just so easy to mod and easy to come by.
