Re: TBI Mods.
I think so. It's not a whole lot more work to do that little bit.
Edit: I was wondering if anyone has made their own TB spacers. The Dutch in me refuses to pay 80 bucks for a chunk of aluminum lol

I just fininshed mine actually. I used two half inch thick pieces of teflon for the spacer and then high-heat silicone to bond them. I used the TB as a template and a compass to find the center for the bores. The only thing to watch is making sure you get the holes perfectly lined up or there will turbulence created as the air passes through

Re: TBI Mods.
I bought the bored out TBI from ebay-- Xtreme FI...
Not too happy with the improvements or lack thereof. Especially not happy that my core as well as another 454 TBI core I sent in got "lost in the mail" and they refuse to give me a core refund...

Re: TBI Mods.
Vortec heads, a good intake, full on exhaust, good gearing, maybe a charger and you can hit it.

edit: are you freakin serious?! you're trying to keep up with a blown car, which has the majority of its weight planted right over the drive wheels, with a naturally aspirated pickup truck (about a 70/30 weight distribution) with an engine fed by a 20+ year old induction system. you definitely took your retarded pill this morning.
