Re: Exhaust exit preference
So far I'm digging having my tips point to the ground after the axle... however I feel these particular tips are ruining the exhaust note.

Re: Exhaust exit preference
I went with whats in my sig. I was gonna ge GN style but they wanted too muc to do it so UI kept the pipes equal length and dumped over the rear axle and gave it a 45deg bend tward the outside of the truck. Sounds great and is plenty loud compared to any of the trucks Ive seen with Mags or flows. Look up my vid on youtube keyword joebro82. You might get the install for less if you do something like mine.

Re: Exhaust exit preference
That's a sick looking truck, too bad the tips are bent and not coming out straight like they should

Re: Exhaust exit preference
Here is my creation. nice and clean and sounds great too. Equal length pipes. I am guessing equal back preasure is good considering these are pretty much straight true duals.

Re: Exhaust exit preference
So do you just have the resonator in the exhaust and no cats or mufflers? If so it sounds nice like that, but i'd weld in an H-pipe to get rid of the popping and hitch pitched tones, it'll sound a lot better. Just ask 04SilveradoMykk how the H-pipe helped his truck, look at his youtube if you don't remember what all his vids sounded like.

Well Ill let you judge the sound. It is alot better than straights. I still have the cats with the res in place of the 75lb stock muf. Here is a youtube video.

This is how mine is. You can see them, but not alot. Just enough to make dust off the ground.

Re: Exhaust exit preference
I have that same system on my truck except my shop made it and I have a Magnaflow muffler with 3.5" tips, all costing me about $120. That's how you know pre-made catbacks are a rip-off.

Re: Exhaust exit preference
I have a setup similar to uncchevy on my GMC. I have turndowns on my Scrambler, and my J10 will have one someday.
If I ever get a 4th vehicle, I am going to use 2nd generation Firebird tips.
