Exhaust exit preference
Okay, so I'm going to be switching up to true duals before too long, and I'm just curious what everyone's opinion on exit location is.
My three considerations are:
Exhaust plumbed to the rear corners of the bed and dumped down, no tips visible.
Two Swept tips in the stock location, very similar to Corsa setup.
or
Two Rectangle tips exiting in front of the right, just like the Gibson Supertruck.

1. I dumped mine just out of the muffler. Tips are ugly, in my opinion.

Re: Exhaust exit preference
I'd dump it so you can't see tips, or do stacks up throught the bed floor.

Thats along the lines of what I'm thinking, but higher up under the bed. Friend of mine has it setup like that on his 98. Exiting behind his rollpan, with the last 1" of the tip visible only from certain angles.

Re: Exhaust exit preference
I am planning to get a new exhaust soon. I'm thinking of corner exits under the bumper but I want the tips to stick out a bit. Probably going with 3.5 inch stainless steel and a FlowMaster Super 40 or glasspack muffler up front.

Got my email quote back today for this setup... $500-600, maybe more. Thats not including the mufflers and x-pipe I already have purchased, just the cost of labor and 10ft of pipe.
Looks like I'm NOT doing that setup...
EDIT: Might just call up gibson to see if I can purchase their aft-muffler pipes. At any case it will be cheaper than this muffler shop.

Re: Exhaust exit preference
that exhaust shop is a joke then Justin. Shouldn't cost you more then lik 250 to have those parts installed, and have the pipes ran.
