Hey phatchevy how does the loudness of the bullets compare to when you first bought them? Is there a big difference?

Yeah actually it is...when I first bought them I thought they were sweet but it was a big change going from not having any mufflers at all to them. So, of course I was slightly disappointed b/c I figured they would be a LIL louder then they were....well now they are louder and I'm VERY impressed.

Re: Post Your Exhaust Sound Clips, Videos, and Pictures
My sound clips are in the sig. I cut off the stock muffler and added a y-pipe with duals exiting at a 45 degree angle with 5" painted black tips. I'll get pics tomorrow.

I'm glad you dug this up...because I almost wanted to do it myself just to hear some more setups
Sad thing is bro, their louder and slightly more toned now then they were in those clips...
I had a guy at a shop I know slap them on for me...he did a bunch of other work so I dunno how much it was for the mufflers. I slipped some money in his pocket personally so he didn't charge hardly anything at all for the entire setup I had to get the pipe underneath the tranny welding BACK on...and a piece of the other pipe welded BACK on...then these 2 bullets...and then I had to have my tips cut off and sunk in some....plus an inspection. Only cost me $60 for all that and I only put $20 in his pocket I think it estimated out to like $150-$200 though...

Re: Post Your Exhaust Sound Clips, Videos, and Pictures
This is a small video of my wheels and tires. The potential buyer wanted to see detailed shots of the wheels and tires so I took this vid. The clip is "NOT" focused on the exhaust but you can still hear the dual super 40 Flowmasters in the background.
I used my digi cams vid feature so please excuse the poor quality
http://youtube.com/watch?v=bqLzVA--e_8
Im already getting tired of the echo effect the flanged dual tips give out. Im thinking of going with magnaflow tips but I hate how they yellow after a short period of time.

so how exactly are you running it. Is it just headers, cats, bullets, pipe..... and exit behind wheels?

Re: Post Your Exhaust Sound Clips, Videos, and Pictures
Not even headers man. I've still got the stock manifolds. Manifolds, stock cats, bullets, and then exit out sides. True duals of course, no crossover pipe.
Future plans are the LT4 corvette cam, magnaflow high-flow cats, x-pipe, and LT headers. Dunno quite yet about the new exit strategy....and if I can afford all stainless steel pipe....I'll be getting that as well....in 2.5''. I've got the stock size now which I believe is 2.25''.
EDIT: Oh yeah, thanks for the comments camaroguy

Re: Post Your Exhaust Sound Clips, Videos, and Pictures
IMO without an x pipe its just too crackly. It sounds cooler just going threw the gears but overall I like how mine sounds better. Yours probably doesn't drone though. For some reason mine drone's bad at 1600 rpms.

I forgot to add the x-pipe in when I said the future plans for it. I added it now. I'M DEFINITELY GETTING AN X-PIPE!
