Summit glasspacks?
I have been muffler shopping and I saw Summit has a glasspack does this muffler have the typical glass packing or the Bullet style packing(looks like cotton or something). Also are these mufflers gonna be a quality muffler or am I gonna have to replace them soon after I buy them?

Re: Summit glasspacks?
hmm, interesting...
i really dont think your gonna have any problem with them, i mean if they sell there own brand and they sell well then it shouldnt be a problem.
try and go to youtube.com to find some clips of that type of GP muffler.
i havent heard any bad things about summit GP's so if thats what your looking for then go for it man!
i read the part where it says all about it and it sounds good and its $20.
sounds like a deal to me...

Re: Summit glasspacks?
Summit Brand stuff is good, i have a few summit brand things on my car and a few on my truck. Not a muffler though, but like i said i've never had a complaint with the company or it's products.

Re: Summit glasspacks?
glasspacks are glasspacks basically, the more you drive them the louder they get in most cases

Re: Summit glasspacks?
I have had summit glass packs on my truck its the fiberglass packing in them. I wanted it louder so I was going to cut them in half and took all the stuff out. They are good mufflers nice rumbling sound but I wanted my truck LOUD so right now I got no mufflers just a Y straight pipes on mine but it will be true duels when I am done with my exhaust but I am waiting for my cat to go out. I would go with them nice rumble sound and they last good to.
