Re: Flowmaster vs. Magnaflow
This has been asked a million times your gonna just get a lot of opinions, and it is all really just price or preference. I didn't have anybody locally selling magnaflow so I went with a flowmaster single in dual out 40 series. I love it and it is very loud on my 5.3L.

But again your going to get a lot of opinions: gibson, borla, summit, bullets, etc..............

I do a search you can read exhaust threads all day long.

Re: Flowmaster vs. Magnaflow
I had a Flowmaster 40 series SI/DO, Super 40 SI/DO, Super 40 dumped, Magnaflow dumped, and Magnaflow SI/SI on my 5.3. I really can't say which setup I liked the most. The Magnaflow is definitely a deeper tone. It really comes down to personal preference. I searched the exhaust forum for weeks just listening to sound clips of other people's trucks. The same (or similar) setups sounded very different on different trucks.

Re: Flowmaster vs. Magnaflow
I was thinking about getting a Magnaflow but i've heard alot of people say it's just a fancy glass pack and i don't really like the sound of a glass pack.

Re: Flowmaster vs. Magnaflow
People say that a magnaflow flows straight through and better than a flowmaster but i'm just going for sound not really performance.
