Header bolts/gaskets???
Just curious what type of good header bolts/gaskets you guys use.

This is actually for a non-GM product of mine. My 95' GT. But, I figured all around this is good header bolt/gasket info!!!

I've had MAC headers on it for years without any problems. But, I've been working on my garage and moving the car in/out, and I noticed an exhaust leak. Upon checking, I've lost a header bolt, and the gasket is blown right where the bolt was.

I'm planning on getting some new (good) gaskets for it and some nice header bolts. I've seen some that are allen head bolts with a lock ring to keep them from backing out. Are these the way to go???

Any thoughts/ideas???

Yes, locking header bolts are the way to go. I used the "Stage 8" locking bolts (long ones) from Summit. They also carry a new line from a company called "Percey's". If I had to do it again I would use the Percey's. Nothing bad has gone wrong with my "Stage 8's", I just like the design of the Percey's. I went with Fel-Pro gaskets.
