Dynomax Bullet
I was thinking about getting a Dynomax bullet to go on my 99 GMC. Anybody got any sound clips of what it would sound like on a 5.3?

Re: Dynomax Bullet
i hope they do sound good in person... i just bought 2 for my truck. ill get them in the mail tuesday. so tuesday night ill be slaping them on my 97 5.7
i bought some longer ones because ive heard before that the longer ones are alittle quieter. so i bought the 23.125 in. versions.
i bought the 2 1/4 since I THINK thats what my pipes are.
i want to hear what they sound like on true duals... but if it doesnt sound just right then ill weld in a crossover pipe or what not after them. time will tell for me i guess.

You'd want the crossover before the mufflers, in fact just after the cats is a good placement for them, you want to merge the exhaust pulses as soon as possible for the most torque and best sound.

Re: Dynomax Bullet
mines dumped at the axle and sounds perfect, drones a good bit but i dont drive my truck on the highway that often so it doesnt annoy me that much. Plus you can just turn the music up

Re: Dynomax Bullet
I like mine, I had it dumped for a while and it sounded great, just way too much drone. Now I have it exiting in front of the rear tire. It sounds a little raspier than it did before, but there is almost no drone. It's pretty damn loud with long tubes too, I plan on sticking a Magnaflow in its place or adding a small 14" case along with it.
