Re: 4.3 v6 sierra which muffler,
If you're gonna dump it, go with a turbo muffler from Summit or Cherry Bomb or Dynomax.

Re: 4.3 v6 sierra which muffler,
Which is why you should go with a turbo style muffler since they're the most quiet performance mufflers you can buy. It will sound deeper, and it will be louder depending on how much smaller it is than the factory muffler. You won't need a small muffler as it'll be noticably louder when it's dumped versus exiting out back.

Re: 4.3 v6 sierra which muffler,
If you want to keep the tailpipe and just splice the muffler if you put in a glasspack they sound pretty good on those motors. Spintech makes some good glasspacks and Flowtech Redhots are nice too

Re: 4.3 v6 sierra which muffler,
cherry bomb extremes sound good. they are deep and dont make you laugh like most mufflers on a v6. my buddy has one on his v6 ranger with dual tips out the back.

Re: 4.3 v6 sierra which muffler,
IMO, this is probobly one of the best mufflers out there for a V6. It almost makes your truck sound like a big block........almost LOL!
JK, I like the sound of Thrush welded mufflers. They sound really good, especially when the cats are pulled.
