Re: dumped
If it was me, I would go with a real dual exhaust.
If you go with a single 3 inch exhaust, change all of the pipes, not just after the muffler.
88Vic, of course I don't run your setup, I like a good sound.
Ringo, I couldn't agree more with your last posts.

Crappy ass looking? You think GMC made a crappy ass looking truck? What are you doing here then? Why aren't you driving a toyota or something? I don't have to spend money to make my truck look good, I like how GMC made it and so do all my friends and family. Btw, my exhaust is deep and loud enough to shake the house, nothing pansy about it since I know how to put together a damn nice system, so f**k off

Re: dumped
Firstly, F*** off 88vic
Secondly, I have more than one truck, not just one V6
Thirdly, considering it is a V6, the sound is not bad

Re: dumped
It's true, even the Grand Nationals and GMC Typhoons don't sound good.

Re: dumped
You must love to contradict yourself as you say you think GMC trucks look good yet you say mine looks like a hobo's ass. News flash: it's stock, came from the factory that way, so either you don't think GMC trucks look good or you do think mine looks good, can't have it both ways since in 95 GMC Sierra's looked like mine.
I'll come up with a rebutle should you show some intelligence in your next post. Until then have fun scraping your little brain.

Re: dumped
As usual, everybody in the Exhaust section thinks they know how to build the perfect exhaust system. And of course, because theirs is perfect, should anybody else decide to do it different or have a difference in opinion, they are stupid.
In conclusion:
1- Talk is cheap, opinions are plentiful.
2- If people don't agree with you, get over it.
3- Videos need to be posted of exhaust systems in order to determine if they as badass as ones words seem to imply.
4-

If you can ignore the static and the fact it is from a phone, here is a video of my Jeep when it only had headers.

Soon as I can get a camera i'll take a vid. I need to register my winter car first, then if I have money left over I can get a camera. Or borrow my dad's.
