Good universal exhaust kit??

Is there any decent packages out there where you get a bunch of miscellaneous assorted exhaust stuff in a box?

I got Weird mid length headers and they got 2.5" cones coming off the collector so i'm doing 2.5" true duals on my 91 in my sig.

I have a portable tubing bender but it does ANCIENT krimp bends and that defeats the point...lol

So i need like a 45* bent pipe to come off the headers and come down, bend and get FLAT (level), so that i can make an exhaust off that. Get what i'm saying?

From there, I need 2.5" pipe to go straight back on the passenger side and maybe 2 90* bends to go around the back of my trans crossmember and then come back and run next to the pipe coming from the 2-4-6-8 side of the engine (passenger)

I found nice pics of True dual setups but my motor is going in and i'm SERIOUS about it this time, i sold most of my old stock exhaust so i have no exhaust and i have like $300 + christmas money.

Thanks.

Brandon

Re: Good universal exhaust kit??

You don't get it, Theres 3 local exhaust shops. They all suck and are owned by guys that are 100 years old.

Out of 3 shops they all use old as $hit crimp benders, I'm looking for Mandrel bent stuff. I'm just like that. I want my exhaust to be able to support 300Hp+ later down the road. And i like the sound of Big exhaust.

That and they're prices are ridiculous, What i want done from headers to in FRONT of the rear tire would be $350, They're insane. And he'd probably go behind my back and put a 2" exhaust on it because thats what he runs on all his old rods with 350HP crate motors, and it necks down to 1.5" at all bends. He says he likes the "power" he gets with that over 2.25", As if 2.25" wasn't already small as dick. No wonder they run and sound like turd.

So yea, to sum it up. ALL local exhaust shops are **** and out of question.

I have a welder, and access to lift in a legit transmission shop << but don't want to take advantage of that if i don't have to

Re: Good universal exhaust kit??

Jegs has some street rod kits for around $200, they should have enough tubing if you're gonna dump the exhaust in front of the rear tires

Re: Good universal exhaust kit??

I had a local shop that does great work put my exhaust together, and with 3"/2.5" dual piping on a stock 200K 305 I don't think a few crimp bends will really restrict it enough to lose power, actually they probably help it with torque.
