That's also exactly how the Magnaflow dual in, dual out mufflers are internally constructed, they're almost the exact same mufflers.

i have lost MPG since i put on my Borla XR-1 mufflers...mostly because it sounds so awesome i always have my foot in it

depends on the year. some 350s had dual exhaust factory to a 2-1 muffler. all NBS HD trucks come with dual exhaust. 1500 get single even the 6.0

Stock exhaust on the Vortec 350's had a DI/SO muffler...think about that for a second...

To OP: For mileage go with a straight through design.
