What type of Magnaflow

WDhat type of magnaflow muffler is everyone running. I have always have had flowmasters but am about to put a 3" exhaust with a free flow cat and shortie headers when I swap to a V8 in Dec. Currently I have a 60 or 70 series flowmaster and the drone in the cab is horrible but this is on a V6. The truck is a 93 lowered 5/7 so I still expect some cab noise with a new muffler. Suggestions?

Re: What type of Magnaflow

I'm running the Performance model, which is the straight through type like most everyone has. I've never heard anything about the 3 Chamber XL mufflers so I can't tell you a thing about them.

And to help with the cab drone, run tailpipes and tips straigt out the back.

Re: What type of Magnaflow

Running tailpipes out the back is not an option so I know that there will always be some drone in the cab.

Why are tailpipes not an option? And for whatever reason you can't put tailpipes on, don't dump it under the bed, at least run it out the side in front of the passenger tire, it really helps when the exhaust isn't bouncing around off the ground and truck.

Re: What type of Magnaflow

Dual 4" Round 18" long mufflers. Sounds great.

Re: What type of Magnaflow

Tailpipes not an option b/c the truck is lowered and will be on bags in the near future no room to run over the axle. I'm planning on going with a single muffler 3" in/out. Just curious what everyone is running length wise and what they think sounds good but not terribly loud with the 350. Thanks for the input.
